Hello, I recieved a letter today from the "attorneys" office that called me regarding my husbands Bank of America card that we have not paid in 4 months. I was expecting to see a letter regarding a settlement or speaking of suing us, considering that is what they told me over the phone. Instead , I get a letter that looks and reads just like a letter from a CA?? It says to call to make payment arrangements...it gives no case number, no mention of a settlement or a lawsuit?? And it has a line in tiny writing at the bottom saying "This is a communication from a debt collector" Should I treat this like a CA or a lawyer?? I am terribly confused. Is there any way I can look up the name of the firm on the letter to get more information?? Thanks, Dana
