The CRA's are required to send you an answer with your corrected credit report. I presume you sent the dispute to all 3 CRAs CRRR? If you can now take your $$ out from under the mattress, the first thing to do is to establish a good relationship with a full service bank. Get a checking account, and a savings account with overdraft conection. An ATM card (Visa/Mastercard) and direct deposit of your paycheck if possible. If you are renting, see if your landlord will cooperate if you use him/her for a credit reference. If you have utility accounts in another person's name, see about getting them transferred to you. DO NOT apply for a credit card or car loan, wait until your report shows your address and phone # and employment, then you will likely start getting offers sent to YOU.
