The problem you will have with the lien is, it is reported for 7 years FROM THE DATE PAID OR RELEASED. This will have a huge effect on your FICO score for at least 2-3 years. Fico scoring does not take into consideration if a delinquent account, charge-off or lien has been paid-off, the fact that it happened at all is the effect on the score. The older it gets, the less effect it will have. I agree 100% with WhyChat, start re-establishing one step at a time, the first being getting the lien reported correctly, etc.
