Have you been served papers for an actual filed suit? If so, which one of these accounts is being filed on?

There is no way of "dismissing" a case by mking a payment unless you have it in writing from the plaintiff.

If you are being sued on the "past SOL" debt, writing the ca & telling him you won't pay because it is beyond SOL will only gain you a default judgment.

As far as I know, there is no way to consolidate a bunch of debts into a single lawsuit. You are most likely being sued on only one,and that most likely is the past SOL one, so you need to appear, amd present an affirmative defense or you will have a default judgment.

If you wish to pay the medical bills, it is likely unrelated to any lawsuit.
