why do most CAs have multiple names? is one not enough?

Or is the foundation of their business based on deception? If a person had 10 different aliases for their name, and used them interchangeably whenever they felt like it, you would (rightly) assume that they were a criminal with something to hide. No other business area I can think of has this sort of crap. Your average collection agency (especially the worst ones) tend to have at least half a dozen different names. Why? Are they all just scam artists and crooks?
