If you called and had them 'fix' it so your husband could ask about the account and make payment arrangements, then you made him an authorized user ! My fiance had to do this in order for me to send Cap1 payments while he was on the road.. they wouldn't even TAKE MONEY w/o me being on his account as an AU. So, you did it alright, they just didn't tell that's how they would do it.

If you get behind on that account, it WILL show on his credit report, even though he has NO liability for the debt whatsoever.
