Yes, both my husband's name and mine are on the lawsuit. However, there is no form to fill out, the summons states that in order to defend the lawsuit, an appropriate written response must be filed with the court within thirty days after the summons is served. We are not provided with a court date. The insurance has paid their portion and the hospital did file in time. I'd be interested in hearing if Nebraska prohibits lawsuit collection on accounts older than a year...because half of it was from June 2000.
