The problem she is going to have is that the CRA's regularly research court records and even if it is removed, it will more than likely show up again.

I've been trying to resolve a matter where the IRS filed a tax lien on a debt that was partially repaid through BK and then "abated" (forgiven) upon filing to extend the BK.

They've "released" the lien, but the only way it seems I'll be able to get it permanently removed is to get the lien vacated.

I know the biggest fear is to "open that can of worms" again. The IRS is so big and they don't seem to communicate very well. Everyone you talk to has a different story.
