im very sorry to hear all what your going thru & honestly i dont think of you as stupid becouse my bet is everyone of us on this forum was funneled falsenformation at one time or another from some scam collection outfit becouse lets face it thats what they do , they lie give false hope & if their small lies in the beginning dont go their way they than spread even more larger threatening lies so your not stupid you were just scared like i was myself at 1 time before educating myself like your in the process of now doing , hey WE ALL had to start off somewhere .. tell ya what the problem that i kinda ran into last summer was & thats MOST & i do mean MOST attorneys DO NOT know very much about consumer laws pertaining to credit card issues , i mean i live in Nevada & ive seen the laws on the NRS books & it flatout says Nevada's SOL on credit card debt is 4 years from date of last actvtity ( meaning when i & only i used the card last not their nonsense interest fees & such ) but after calling maybe 10 lawyers only 4 got the SOL correct & the other 6 were TOTALLY lost or 1 even said theres no SOL , ITS CRAZY but goes to show ANYONE with a few bucks can too become a bad lawyer & goes to show ya lots of louzy lost lawyers out there !! florida's SOL on credit cards is 4 years from when YOU last paid on the account so dont listen to lies from collectors cause 98 % of all collectors are full of sh*# & will tell you anything just to get paid becouse MOST all collection is paid on comission .. not to seem rude but if im understanding your post correctly you "signed" some type of agreement a couple weeks ago , well if thats true that was a HUGE mistake by doing that .. im in the mist of having computer problems so not all posts are opening for me when i try but i do see others have posted so hopefully you got some good suggestions , well good luck ok ............. kelly ........
