There is no such thing as a "limited" authorization. When you gave your husband authorization to obtain information on your account, it was FULL authorixation, which made him an authorized user. If the account is NOW current, you can have him removed as authorized usermthis will remove the tradeline from his report.

If, however, the account has been closed, or charged off, there is nothn you can do.

By the way, although you are putting the mortgage in his name alone, you may STILL have problems with your credit report.

Unless the house is to be in his name alone, and you sign off any
rights you have as his wife at the closing, your credit will be checked for judgments, or POSSIBLE judgments.
