how to raise credit score

I have a 580 credit
score. Thats the middle for all
3. How can I rapidly raise it to 620? Want better terms for
a home loan. Please identify
all options. I have 7 outstanding CC debts from April 98 in California.
Will my score go up the same if I pay off a $200 debt as opposed
to a $4,300 debt? Does it make a difference? Can and how can I
dispute inquiries? Can they be deleted? Does this increase score?
Please identify all options available.
