I have a card with a credit limit of $7,000. I want to increase it. When I make the request, do I ask for a specific amount, or do I just say, I want it to be higher? If I ask for a specific amount, what's the highest amount that would be a reasonable increase from 7K? Does asking for $15,000 sound reasonable?

All replies will be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much in advance.
