Several years ago, when my business was failing, GE Capital Credit got a judgement on me against a debt in MN that was no more than 120 days late. I was never served court documents stating when and where to appear. I just got a letter from the county court stating the ruling. Should I have received court paperwork to appear? I'm going to check and see if and how paperwork was served. If I can prove that I was never served, do I have any options? If so, what are they?
