Why chat you offer a great service. But, Ive noticed in going back through old threads that every other post is about the SOL. Is there case law that states the Sol is the state that you live in and not the state where the Creditor resides in? Specifically, if the creditor's states Sol. is longer than my state's Sol.. Someone must have been sued and challenged this, and either won or lost. If they lost and the judge sided with the creditor because the creditor brought along the original contract that stated there state law applies then this would satisfy and shut up anyone disputing this.Specifically, me. I just cant seem to understand why this question is so difficult. Theres a statute of limitations on everything from, murder, arson, assault and battery, extortion, but for some reason no one can answer with legal case law or fact that the statute of limitations on credit card debt is the state you where you signed or curruntly reside.
