If you're planning on buying that house in the near future, you'd better be ready to pony up a HUGE downpayment and pay HUGE interest rates IF they will even talk to you about a loan with bad credit and a repo on your record. Most mortgage lenders will insist that you pay off old charge-offs and judgments before they'll even consider giving you a loan, and even then its not guaranteed. You may not have a judgment against you now for that repo, but you can almost bet that one is coming in your direction at some point.
