Was this a revolving charge account? Was this a store account that could only be used in the issuing store?

What State are you in? How did you obtain this account? By internet? In person?

It is POSSIBLE that this is one of the many illegal "merchant credit" accounts that can not be legally collected because of interest rate or other improper charges.
