Camco had contacted me a cople of months ago about am old Capital One account that went bad when I was in college. Its been 10 years since any activity and past the SOL,I think.(happened in Texas). I read below that CA run credit reports when trying to collect debts. My question is How often can they run them? Is there a limit? If they keep running them how will it affect my credit. When I bought my house 2 yrs ago everything was clean. Now that I will be buying another in a few months I don't want this showing up and screwing me. Thats for any advice you can provide.
