Put an opt out on your reports,put a fraud alert on your reports, it will cause a small hassle for your mortgage applications but will eliminate any poisoning.

Cap 1 will be shut out and scamco will not be able to access any information either.

Advise your mortgage broker of the fraud alert so they will know they cannot pull your records without your notification EACH time.
