My wife received a call on 12/5 from what we believed to be a creditor, they would only say their name was Sarah and refused indentify the reason for the call or who they represented. They said it was a private issue and wanted the telephone number of her human resources department. The woman than asked to be transferred to my wife's supervisor, my wife refused. The caller hung up screaming at my wife for not being coorperative.

On 12/6 the same individual obtained the number of the Human Resources department of the government agency where my wife is employed. They called the human resources department claiming she applied for a loan from Household Finance and they needed employment information about her. The HR person called my wife right away to ask if she applied for loan or knew a Sarah Blackstone from Household Finance. My wife said no. She assumed after that the HR person did not give the person the information. Unless they are calling after a judgement isn't it illegal for a creditor to contact your employer.

What do we do help! The negotiation company we are using has not returned our calls concerninhthis pronblem.
