The "written contract" on your car loan was voided by the repo.

If there was a LEGAL repossession and sale, with full compliance with S.C. repo laws, (see link on my website to State repo laws),then under the UCC there is a 2 year SOL unless S.C. statutes on auto financing requires a shorter period. You can call the # listed for S.C. motor vehicle & ask them.

The starting period is from the date of the sale after repo that created the deficiency.
