The 'lawyer' is still a collection agency and the CA has not validated. The burden of proof that the debt is yours is on THEM, not you, you don't have to send them a darn thing.

If you got another letter with the 30 day notice to dispute, send out another DV certified letter. It gets tedious when they pass these things around from one CA to the next, but it does work for a lot of people.
