You send them another letter telling them that their validation attempt is inadequate and incomplete and does not comply with the FTC's requirements for validation. Read the FTC Wollman opinion letter, print it out and send a copy of it with your next letter and reference it. You can also look up the case Spears v. Brennan, as that case law goes to proper validation as well. They haven't provided you complete and proper validation.. so send the next letter. Samples can be found at www.creditnet.com or www.creditinfocenter.com as well as on WhyChat's site. The SOL is near to expiring on this account, if you can stall them long enough it will expire and you can tell RMA to pee up a tree !!
