If you have the address(es) of the CA(s), send them the SOL letter from Why Chat's site, that should make them slither away. They can threaten all they want (and will do so) but legally there is nothing they can do to collect on out-of-statute debts. C&D letters will take care of the phone calls. Do not talk to them other than to obtain a mailing address. If they file suit (unlikely if they get your "SOL letter"), present your SOL defense to the judge with proof (CRA reports, card statements, cancelled checks, etc.) and you'll do fine.
