Notify your mortgage broker that you are disputing this fraudulent account. Tell him you wish to have the amount place in escrow instead of paying $$ you do not owe o a scam collction agency that is reporting a date just to harrass you because of the pendin refinancng. Send them (the CA)a validation request CRRR give a copy to your mortgage broker, make sure the escrow arragement gives a time period for releae of the funds back to you if the CA cannot validate the claim. Use this letter (eliminate the 1st paragraph about identity theft) Use it in FULL including all attachments.
