creditor discussing my debt with friends

My auto loan was deliquent and the creditor Americredit not only phoned people on my reference page, but told them that my loan was deliquent and they were going to repossess my car. In addition to that they phoned my place of employment asking for me when I was not in, they asked the receptionist where my vehicle was, and told her that they were investigating me for fraud because my signature looked different on differnt pieces of paper, and that they were sending the Sheriff's Dept to see me...also they told my sister that whoever was driving the car was going to have a bad day because they were reporting it stolen and the Sheriff's Dept was looking for it. What can I do about this?
