Restarting SOL in FL - WhyChat ?

There is an issue I've been asked about, and I know its come up here before, hopefully you can answer this one off the top of your head. I've read and re-read the FL statute you posted on your site and I'm still not sure, so please bear with me. If a person has been paying a CA on a debt that was past the SOL (FL), has the SOL clock been reset ? I don't believe there was any written contract or even a written agreement to the payments. What I think I understand the statute to say is that the SOL has NOT been reset w/o a new contract.. is this correct ?? Thanks !
