Why chat may be able to answer this better... however, the gist I'm getting from this board is that the creditor must file a deficiency judgment within 2 years of the repo, otherwise they cannot come after you for the balance. Is this a "law firm" or a CA masquerading as a law firm? What state are you in and what state was the car repoed in? you may be able to get the judgment vacated since it may be beyond SOL. Again, Why Chat may be able to help out better on this one...
