To his knowledge it may be a medical bill of some sort. The collection agency (Western Mercantile) will not tell him what it's for when he's asked. The CA has been known to do things that weren't always right in the past which leads us to think they were just blowing smoke. There is a case # on the paperwork and it does look official to us. It shows the CA as the plaintiff and my finece as the defendant. He did get a notice about a month ago from the CA regarding this matter and he called them to tell them he doesn't have any money because he's on unemployment. This paperwork we recieved today is saying he is "Required to appear before that above entitled court on the 16th day of December 2002" and gives a time and place (Circuit Courtroom)It then lists all the items he must bring with him, ie: bank accounts, property, list of tools, auto's, ect...
The paperwork is dated (in pen) for Nov 14, 02 which is before he called and talked to the CA about this when he recived the last paperwork. I hope this info helps, if not let me know and I'll try and find out more.
