Are you SURE you are paying the original cc companies ? Take a look at your credit reports and see what the actual status of your accounts are. Most likely, the accounts were charged off long ago and transferred to collection agencies. If any of the accounts are "active" that is in a current status with the cc companies, and being paid on a regular monthly statement with no late charges or past due fees, then your SOL would start over whnthose accounts became delinquent.
