10 YEAR OLD DEBT (Why Chat Feedback greatly appreciated)

A few months ago I started receiving letters from NCO Financial regarding a debt that was charged off back in 1992. I sent them a cease and desist letter and haven't heard fromt them since. Just checked my CR and noticed a new entry from Discover Financial Services regarding this debt. Looks like NCO gave up and sent info back to original creditor. Why Chat, I'm not sure which dispute letter to use to get this old debt removed and who to send it to CB or CA. Please help? Been surfing your website for the correct letter.
