How can I count the years to see if the SOL is up for one of my credit card accounts that when to collections? I was contacted by NCO in December of 2000 and I believe that I stopped paying it in 1997. I don't really remember. However NCO made an agreement with me then they just took money out of my checking account and claimed that they didn't but I have proof and I had to close the account to stop them from continuing to take money out. They won't update my account with the correct amount of money and I will not pay them one cent. However I think that they are planning to sue me. I don't want to speak with them. They stopped calling me for like 4 months but now they started to call me again. What should I do? Someone please help me.
