I depostited a check drawn on an out of state bank on a friday morning. The funds were paid out by the out-of-state bank on Tuesday, but my bank bounced checks in my account on Wed and Thurs.

When I questioned them, they told me that they HAD to hold the money for 5 days, that it was the law. I asked her where my money was, and her response was that it was on hold, but they had to hold it. I asked why, and she just said that it was the law.

Now I'm looking for that "law", before I go get me a lawYER
