I sent out certified C&D and SOL letters to RMA, Gulf State & Sherman Acquisitions and I have not rec'd a response from any of them. Should I even expect anything in writing from them regarding my letters agreeing that it is past SOL? What's the next step? I just want to get them off of my credit report. I got my house refinanced and a stipulation with Fannie Mae is that I have to settle with these creditors/collections agencies to get them off my credit report but I feel like if they are past SOL that I don't want to pay them a cent. The OC & the CA are both listed on my report. Shouldn't there only be just 1 entry from the OC on there or 2 entries from the OC & CA? Will I have to wait another 4 years for the 3 or 6 entries to come off? DLA for the 3 items are 98 & 99. Also, do you know if Gulf State and Palisades are 1 in the same? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.
