Thanks for the reply patti. I am in Illinois by the way, and the SOL for credit cards is 5 years. If the DOLA is the date of last activity on the account, it says on the credit report 11/97. So if that is considered the charge off date, that would put it a month past the 5 year SOL. Any advice?
