From what we were told when we went to court on our Capital one card ,if they garnish your wages they can take as much as 25% of your take home pay. Also you might be interested in knowing that the lawyer for Cap one told us in court that they could not touch any property of mine,because the card was my husbands only,and I was not an authorized user. Our home was in my name only,lucky for us! We settleled with them with a monthly payment we could afford. It was $25 higher a month than what we offered,but certainly better than garnishment. Good luck!
