They won the judgment, now they're looking for ways to collect on it, hence the Interrogatories. Since they cannot garnish wages in TX, then the force you to answer the Interrogatories so that they can find out what other assets you have that they may be able to take. In TX they CAN garnish your bank accounts, among other things. You ARE entitled to exmeptions from judgments, just as in bankruptcy, so you will probaby have to claim and file your exemptions with the court.

You HAVE to answer the Interrogatories or, yes, you will be held in contempt and they might even issue a bench warrant. If you can afford an attorney, it wouldn't be a bad idea to do so.
