Just an FYI.. something I forgot in my original answer. Your failure to dispute within the 30 days they give you when they send you a letter does NOT mean the debt is valid nor is it validated. There is NO time limit for requesting validation.

FDCPA Section 809 says: "(c) The failure of a consumer to dispute the validity of a debt under this section may not be construed by any court as an admission of liability by the consumer"
