hi there. i have unpaid accounts with creditors in the US that i can not pay off as I now live in Scotland and can not find the creditors back (old student credit cards that were all lost along with my wallet in 1999 ago and reported stolen back at the time.) What can be done? will the debt continue to grow or will it be "forgiven" and written off? will i get sued ? as i can not find the creditors back i do not know what can be done and what is the amount of money owed (less than $1500 alltogether for sure).

i managed to settle one bill with the Bell charge off department and gave them my new address in scotland so they could send me the paid in full form. will my new address go on my credit report if any is existing for non us-citizens? (as mentionned in Anthony's question)

please help me!
it drives me nuts!!!!!!!!

cheers,

Julie.
