Just make sure you do not admit to the debt not that it matters. Just keep saying it was so long ago you do not remember. Remember if you make them aware in your state that the debt is past the SOL and they continue to seek legal action against them you can countersue them for $1000. In fact, I would call the courthouse and file now.

on the left side under 2. amount or charges lawfully knowing it says
"It is also a violation to misrepresent a debt's character, amount or legal status. For example, it is a violation to attempt to collect a claim that is too old to be enforceable.

Use whychats TILA but I would actually go to google and look it up exactly and print the entire page. No mercy. Go for their balls(assuming they have some). Countersue them.
