It will be better for you to file BK and keep your income and/or credit off of any application.

If you DON'T file BK it would be impossible for you to be on the mortgage and deed at all, as there would be the risk of collection judgments.

In most cases, even if YOUR income and credit were required, 2 years after a ch7 discharge is considered OK even for an FHA mtg.if your credit history after your discharge is good.
