I am a bit confused about the length of time a Judgement can remain on my credit report. It says on experian's papers that it will remain for 7 years wether it has been paid or not and then has to come off. Then I look at the limitations on this site and all it says is they have diffrent times for diffrent states but it is only for collection after a judgement has been rendered. Does the original judgement have to come off in 7 years no matter what state you live in?
And also what state limitations do you go by if the judgement was aquired in one state and you now live in another state. Thanks for any help.
