Unfortunately, you are in a State with few consumer protection laws.

Your only chance is to request proof the sale was held in a commercially reasonable manner.

You might also check to see what, if anything you signed when you turned the car in. Did you get the license plates? Did the daughter get full notice of the repossession, and do they have copies of all documents, including an inventory of personal items?

Did you check the "Blue Book" value of the car (wholesale or trade in value) against what it was sold for?

If you bring up enough questions, and are able to prove you facilitated the creditor's abiity to locate and repossess the car, you MAY be able to have the deficiency waived.
