Yes they can file a lien IF they can get a judgment, they can't do anything to you at all unless they win. Is this on the same account?

I really think you need to find a lawyer to help you,Tenn. is not very consumer friendly.

My website has a link to NACA lawyers, or if you are on any kind of public assistance, or are elderly or disabled, you can go to the legal aid link.

If you are having a LOT of left over credit problems from your ex, you may wish to consider filing BK ch 7, that will get you "divorced" from your debts.
