Some States require free credit reports once a year. If you have been refused credit or turned down for a job because of a credit report, you can get one free. Otherwise, the BEST way is to get each one individually on-line,(about $8.50- $9.00 each) if you dispute you get a new one, and your report is good for 90 days for any dispute. The "3in 1" reports are not very good, they are incomplete and you cannot use them to dispute on line. They are also more expensive than getting each one seperately. The underlying debt that the suit is being filed on will show up, but a judgment will only show up after it is actually entered.
