What kind of lien are you talking about?
If it is a judgment lien, it is for 10 years in Or. but can be renewed for another 10, however if it was a default judgment in the first place, I doubt there s any legal way to renew it.

It should have come off your credit reports 7 years after it's filing date.

If, however, you are talking about a tax lien, they are a different story, and it depends on the source, Federal, State or County.
