Someone told me that only original creditors have grounds upon which to file suit and that an attorney must name the original creditor as the plaintiff, not the collection agency. In order for the collection agency to profit, they have to file an assignment document with the court after the case has been adjucated. The collector has no standing to sue because he is not the injured party. -True or false?
