Having been in finance and banking for the last 15 years in both the UNited KIngdom and the US a bank manager.

The only true advise I would offer to you is, you are the only one who can answer your question.

You have two things to consider.

1/ Take the settlement and be done with the headache and heartache of having to deal with this on a daily basis. And learn from the information you now know.

2/ Continue to fight for your rights as a consumer and demand the service you expect which they no doubt advertise on a daily basis.

One word of advise, courts look favorably on the consumer, simply because you are the layman.
If you know you are in the write and have the documentation to back it up, take the path less travelled.
