If your last payment was in August, the account is 5 months past due.. its about to be charged-off in another month (180 days of non-payment). At this point, Cap One is still in control, just using RMA to collect, that's why the payment still goes to CapOne and not RMA. Once they SELL or Assign the account to RMA or some other collection agency, then you usually pay the CA.

If you can't pay anything, there's not much you can do. Less than the minimum won't help at this point. Its a typical 'you're in default pay it all now' letter, that's how it works.

You can try calling CapOne and see if they'll put you in a hardship program, they *might* work with you. If you have no money, you'll just have to let it go and deal with the CAs later when you can pay something. Beware though, CapOne sues quickly, especially if you owe a lot.
