N.J. statutes on "foreign" CAs is the same as most other States.

It IS true that if an out of State CA OPERATED in NJ they would be required to be bonded.

However, communicating by telephone, or mail or other electronic means is not considered "operating" within the State. In addition, they can sue a NJ resident as long as they are represented by a NJ lawyer.

It is unfortunately very easy to read into a regulation or law an interpretation which is incorrect.Especially when you are trying to fight a scumbag CA.
