So, what you are saying, is the CA lied to the Court and said the account had been paid and/or settled in order to prevent being caught out filing a lawsuit that was beyond SOL. You must be in California, or some other State that has penalties against CA's for filng a time-barred lawsuit. I suggest you write the CA a letter -or have the lawyer write it for you, acknowledging the dismissal and stating that if they delete and purge your account from any and all CRA reports, you will not pursue any further action regarding their violations of the FDCPA and State laws regarding filing a time-barred claim after having received notice from you that it was past SOL. And you will not report the CA lawyer for abuse of proccess to the courts and the State bar asociation.
